Fairless Local Schools finished construction of its new high school building in late 2023. Regency Construction Services operated as the construction management team, bringing to life the designs by Lesko Architecture. Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) received contracts to provide multiple scopes of work to the new facility.

Making your way throughout the new building, one of the primary scopes of work that is noticeable is the casework. Through Stevens Advantage, FEC delivered and installed educational casework in the classrooms, mailrooms, storage areas, and more. Most casework finishes opt for a neutral tone, but the school chose to be bold with a Navy Legacy color. This works really well with the color scheme throughout the building, and gives a unique look to the school.

Moving along the facility, the new gymnasium boasts telescopic bleachers from Hussey Seating Company (HSC), installed and delivered by FEC’s installation crews. In total, over 1500 seats were installed with auto-rotating aisle rails, semi-permanent media platforms and flex-row seating for ADA compliance. Additionally, Gared Performance Sports (PSS) provided basketball backstops to the gym, along with a roll-up divider curtain and wrestling mat hoist.

In the first and second floor science wings, ICI Campbell Rhea science lab casework is visible throughout, creating a professional and quality environment with epoxy resin tops. For this project, the school opted for a Amber color for the wall and base cabinet tops which blends well with the other classroom color choices.

The Fairless high school project included a tight delivery schedule and coordination of multiple scopes of work for the FEC project management team. The finished product is quite remarkable, between bleachers, athletic equipment along with multiple types of casework.
