“Every space is designed to have multiple purposes,” explained Principal Scott Best on a recent school tour. “Students are welcome to write on the glass walls of every classroom. Teachers are encouraged to take advantage of huddle spaces in the hallways for group work.” – OHIO STEM LEARNING NETWORK
Perrysburg’s newest building, Hull Prairie Intermediate School, was one of many emerging trends to make every space multi-purpose, encouraging kids to write on the glass walls and take advantage of hallway huddle spaces that are accented with our L-shaped paneled benches.
Farnham Equipment Company provided and installed Stevens Industries Casework in black with Bar-128 Pulls. Traditional storage units are in each classroom with the bulk of storage in shared spaces such as the staff planning rooms which also contain a Steven’s Pedestal Counter top. Additional rooms with more available storage include the art studios and science rooms. The main corridors are lined with Stevens’s orchestra storage in black with additional instrument storage.
The elaborate reception desk in the main office is accented in translucent resin 3-Form panels for a subtle glow and ambiance. Additionally installed were flush mounted Wheelhouse High density mobile file storage units.
In addition to pre-manufactured casework, there were custom procured and installed specialty millwork features including: trim, concrete countertops, custom metal wire troughs and supports, and display cases.
Custom Laminate panels line the hallways and corridors in various configurations. The intermediate school’s cafetorium, defined as a large room designed for use as both a cafeteria and an auditorium, features our laminate panels, oak trim, countertops, and benches for an elaborate shared space welcoming students into the building.
