In the summer of 2021, Elida Local Schools completed a New K-5 School from the funds generated by a $2.8 million bond issue approved years prior.  Garmann Miller Architects and Peterson Construction Co. received awards for designing and overseeing the project. Shortly afterward, Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) received awards for multiple scopes of equipment for the new building.

FEC provided and installed laminate educational casework throughout the new building from Stevens Industries Inc.  The casework was provided in multiple finishes including Phantom Pearl and Planked Deluxe Pear. The contrasting finishes provide a bright and cheery atmosphere throughout the building

In the gymnasium, FEC installed Hussey Seating Company’s MAXAM telescopic bleachers.  Black courtside seats were selected to hold approx. 500 students. For the athletic equipment in the gym, FEC installed Performance Sports Systems basketball backstops, wall pads, and an operating divider curtain.  Together, the combination of seating and athletic equipment is a great asset that FEC brings to any job within the educational market.

As a result of FEC’s expert in-house installation team’s efforts, the new K-5 for Elida Local Schools is well-equipped with quality casework, athletic equipment, and telescopic seating for years to come.
