The Bloom Carroll Local School’s existing elementary building needed modernization. It wasn’t up to the standards desired by the community. In 2018, a bond levy passed allowing the district to move forward with plans for a new elementary school. Schorr Architects and Summit Construction received awards to deliver the project from start to finish. Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) was awarded multiple scopes of work for fixed equipment for the new building.

Stevens’ Industries Advantage Educational Casework was installed throughout the classrooms, administrative offices, art storage, and music rooms in the new building. Opting for a classic look, the Fusion Maple finish selected stands out with its professional yet subtle tone throughout the building.

The gymnasium was provided with a four-tier Maxam telescoping bleacher with Purple Courtside Seats from Hussey Seating Company.  The basketball backstops, gym divider curtain, and wall pads were provided by Performance Sports Systems (PSS).  Two NEVCO wireless-operated scoreboards with protective covered screens were also provided.

This project demonstrates the varied scopes of work FEC offers to the educational marketplace. From casework to seating, FEC’s professional staff is well-equipped to deliver multiple scopes of work with excellent craftsmanship. The Bloom Carroll School District now has a modern elementary facility that will serve the community well into the future!
