Project Overview
The new Sandusky Aquatic Center was brought together through the management of Mosser Construction and designs by TDA Architecture. Having established relationships with both companies, Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) was pleased to deliver the bleacher scope for this project in the summer of 2025.
The bleachers came through National Recreation Systems (NRS) and feature courtside seats from Hussey Seating Company (HSC) to create a more comfortable seating experience than the typical aluminum bench seating. The finished product is a great addition to FEC’s project profiles that include pool bleachers. The collaboration between TDA and FEC proved to be critical to developing a design that fit the school’s needs. The contract sales division handled delivering an installation in a prompt fashion ahead of the unveiling event for the school district.
Key Project Features
1. Pool Bleacher Seating: National Recreation Systems & Hussey Seating Company
The Sandusky Aquatic Center project features new pool bleacher seating from NRS and HSC, with features including:
- Aluminum, 7-row by 79’6” bleacher with concrete anchors
- Seating for nearly 300 spectators
- 6 ADA wheelchair spaces
- 10” courtside seats from HSC for a comfortable seat upgrade over the aluminum bench seating
