Kettering Fairmont High School is well known for its dedication to the arts. Seeing a need to revamp its old auditorium, the residents at Kettering approved a bond levy in 2016 for a new 900-seat auditorium for the district. As the project progressed, Shook Construction took charge of bringing the project to fruition, with Reutschle Architects providing the design. Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) won the award for providing the auditorium seating for this facility.

FEC provided and installed 911 Quattro seats from Hussey Seating Company for the new auditorium space. Opting for a professional look, the Architect chose a Grey Heather fabric with a contrasting Graphite polymer outer back for the chairs. The waterfall seat design and optional high back on these chairs provide a comfortable end result for the spectators. In order to accommodate wheelchair patrons for code compliance, eight ADA spaces were designed into the layout.

The finished facility is beautiful and is one of the larger public school auditorium projects within the State of Ohio. Coupled with the quality of Quattro seats from Hussey Seating and FEC’s in-house team of technicians, Farnham Equipment Co. is uniquely positioned as a great solution provider for auditorium and spectator seating.
