Farnham Equipment Company provided a turnkey solution to Pandora-Gilboa Local Schools in response to a request for proposal to replace the football field’s home side bleachers. The result was a custom 16-row x 96’ hillside angle frame aluminum bleacher with closed decking. The bleacher system included a net seating of 928 with 32” row spacing and 12-inch rise for optimal site lines.

FEC teamed with local contractor, Shartell Construction to perform the site work and pour the concrete slab needed for the hillside bleacher. Don Shartell and his team completed their portion of the work in 3 weeks and FEC’s in-house installation team took less than 4 weeks to complete the American Aluminum Seating bleacher installation.

This was a successful project from start to finish because school superintendent Todd Schumtz and head of maintenance Leroy Ellerbook planned early which gave FEC ample time to complete this project before the first home football game.

FEC has a longstanding relationship with Pandora-Gilboa Local Schools in providing service, maintenance, and annual inspections to their indoor bleachers and we are happy to extend our services with them to include the new outdoor bleacher system. As with all of our seating installations, Farnham Equipment Company’s Maintenance Solutions team will provide the district with a complementary inspection for the new seating system within one year of their warranty start date including warranty repairs.
