Lakota Local Schools replaced their telescoping bleachers at both Lakota East and Lakota West High Schools in the Summer of 2016 under NJPA contract. Lakota East High School was the first High School in Ohio to feature Hussey Seating Company’s Auto-Rotating Aisle Rails.
Hussey’s Patent pending Auto-Rotating Aisle Rails dramatically reduce the labor of properly opening or closing gym bleacher. The rails are permanently mounted to the bleacher, and automatically rotate to the proper open or closed position as you operate the bleacher with the push of a button. This is a truly safe, closed loop rail design that won’t run the risk of catching purses or book bags that could lead to a loss of balance or worse. It’s properly positioned in-line center aisle every time, with no offsets or staggers required for proper storage.
Lakota East also features Hussey Seating Company’s Total Package Graphics Program with an Xtreme Logo, CourtSide Seat logos, and CourtSign graphics on the skirtboards. Hussey’s Xtreme Logo places your school’s mascot or logo on a grand scale in the center of your bleacher sections. Using a proprietary graphic transfer process, your XtremeLogo is permanently bonded to the CourtSide bleacher seats – no peeling, scuffing or scratching.
CourtSide Seats mounted to the existing concrete risers replaced current seating on one side of the main floor and new telescopic bleachers with ADA Seating/Flex Rows replaced the other. The main balcony bleachers bring the total number of seating for the Thunderhawks to 2,014 net seats.
Lakota West High School has a similar footprint for their bleachers but features Hussey’s traditional block lettering “Lakota West” across their seating along with CourtSide Seat Logos and Seat Number logos.
The both contracts included removal and disposal of existing bleachers and seating.
