For school districts, a big question when it comes to gymnasiums is always cost. Going from repairs to replacement with bleachers isn’t always an easy option, but for St. Mary’s School, it was a no-brainer.
This private school in Wooster, Ohio decided that the time had come to replace its old 1960s bleachers. The maintenance staff at St. Mary’s reached out to Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) on how to best improve their bleachers. After visiting the site, it was determined that the best course of action was to replace the worn-down bleachers.
FEC’s installation team only had a week to demo and install the new bleachers, so a team of four service technicians got to work in the middle of April 2022. This new telescopic bleacher from Hussey Seating Company is 12 tiers long and includes recoverable flex-row seating for wheelchair access. The new bleachers added seating, with a shade under 250 seats available for the student body and patrons to use during game time.
