Project Name: Wynford Middle and High School Additions
Owner: Wynford Local Schools
Architect: Buehrer Group
CMR: Adena Corporation
Scope: Provide and Install Educational Casework, Science Lab Casework and Telescopic Bleachers
Completion Date: October 2020

Wynford Schools completed new renovations to their existing Middle and High School complex. Behind a partnership between Adena Corporation and the Buehrer Architectural Group, the renovations were completed in late 2020.  Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) was awarded contracts to provide and install multiple scopes of work for this project.

In the main High School gymnasium, FEC installed three banks of Maxam Telescopic Bleachers from Hussey Seating Company. One bank of bleachers features Hussey’s Signature Logo, which spells out “WHS”.

Throughout the Middle and High School, FEC installed plastic-laminate casework by Stevens Industries, Inc.  The carbon mesh finish on the cabinets provides a nice compliment to the classrooms, media center, computer labs, music rooms, and administration areas of the building.

The science wing features Campbell Rhea’s “Heritage Oak” wood lab Science Casework by Institutional Casework Inc. (ICI) in an all-natural wood finish.   The High School Chemistry lab area features ICI’s “Magnetar Lab Tables” to accommodate both lab and lecture functions.

This project at Wynford Local Schools highlighted the flexible solutions that Farnham Equipment Company can offer to the K-12 market in Ohio. Whether there is an entirely new building or renovations to existing facilities, Farnham’s line of products is able to assist in upgrading the Ohio School District marketplace.
