End Customer: Leslie Public Schools
Location: Leslie, MI
Date: Spring 2025
Project Overview
Leslie High School needed to upgrade the existing high school bleachers to meet code compliance. Specifically, the school contacted Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) to upgrade the aisleways and handrails on the bleachers. The existing seating came from Hussey Seating Company in the late 1990s, which allowed the school to share the original drawings with FEC to assist with design solutions. Utilizing Sourcewell, the school contracted FEC to provide the upgrades ahead of the busy 2025 summer schedule, with new “P-style” handrails, 4’6” aisleways, reducing the step height, and more.
The school couldn’t be happier with FEC’s work on this project, another great feature for the state of Michigan. The ability to upgrade an existing HSC bleacher provided cost savings and ensured a longer life span for the bleachers, a key to all the FEC service work performed for customers’ equipment. This was accomplished through Sourcewell, which made Leslie Public Schools’ process from start to finish efficient and allowed for customization through FEC.
