Project Overview
Delaware Christian School looked at its gymnasium and knew an upgrade was necessary. The school was on the verge of an overall when it came to school branding, while the gymnasium seats continued to get broken and damaged from ongoing baseball practices. At the time, the school had worked with Farnham Equipment Company (FEC) on annual inspections dating back to 2016. After multiple inspections and seeing the need for upgrades, the school opted for a custom seat replacement with new custom Courtsigns and Stepsigns throughout the bleachers.
This smaller, Service Department-driven project is a great spotlight on various upgrades schools can make while navigating budgetary constraints. It showcases the cost-effective nature of replacing the seats on bleachers while also adding some new flair with custom upgrades.

1. Telescoping Bleachers: Hussey Seating Company
The new bleacher upgrades at Delaware Christian School include:
- Replacement of 400 seats with Red and Black courtside seats
- Customized seating scheme to fit with the new school branding, with red seats at the ends and black seats in the middle sections
- New courtsigns and stepsigns with phrases “Delaware Christian Eagles”, “Sportsmanship”, “Teamwork”, “Integrity”, “Discipline”, and “Perseverance”
- Custom school logos on the steps
