Project Overview
Daniel Morgan K-8 School had existing gymnasium bleachers that had recently been inspected by Farnham Equipment Company (FEC). Among the items in the inspection report, one of the most glaring upgrades was replacement seating. Many of the existing seats were chipped, broken off entirely, or presented serious safety concerns for the students who would be utilizing them. The school opted to work with FEC to replace the existing seating with new blue courtside seats to upgrade the facilities’ bleachers at an affordable cost, while also ensuring the safety of the spectators.
This smaller, Service Department-driven project is a great spotlight on various upgrades schools can make while navigating budgetary constraints.

1. Telescoping Bleachers: Hussey Seating Company
The new bleacher upgrades at Daniel Morgan K-8 include:
- Replacement seats in 289 dark blue color
- New hardware and clips to properly install the new seating
- Replacement of row lock mechanisms, stabilizer rollers
- Tier 2 rollers added to frames to prevent dragging
- Upgrades to flex-row handles
- Replacement of damaged frame wheels
