Owner:  Columbus State Community College
Architect:  Moody Nolan
Contractor:  Daimler Group
Sub-Contractor: Farnham Equipment Company

In August 2015, Columbus State’s Dublin Regional Learning Center moved into the Integrated Education Center on Ohio University’s Dublin Campus. The building also houses Ohio University’s College of Health Sciences and Professions. The rest of the Dublin campus houses Ohio University’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Farnham Equipment Company provided ICI Scientific’s CampbellRhea Laboratory Casework and Equipment for the new facility. The scope included a Biology classroom and an Anatomy/Chemistry classroom along with associated prep space. Casework was the ICI Scientific CampbellRhea Empire Oak series, featuring vertically matched grain in a light oak finish. Locks were matched to Owner specs to allow keying coordination across facilities. Tops were epoxy resin with associated sinks and fixtures. The Fume Hoods were provided as Labconco Protector XL to match the Owner’s existing hoods, one of which was relocated to this facility.

This project had a tight timeline and completion requirement, which necessitated expedited manufacturing, delivery and installation as well as significant rough-in coordination requirements.
