Project Overview
Orville High School sought to enhance its outdoor grandstands. Among the needs, the school desired an additional cross-aisle and ADA ramps to support wheelchair access of its patrons.
After an initial meeting with Farnham Equipment Company (FEC), the school worked on several iterations of outdoor grandstand modifications with FEC. The district settled on one that provided the new upgrades to fit within a busy summer schedule.
This project involved FEC handling the demolition of the existing asphalt and the pouring of a new slab to support the ADA ramps and cross aisles. ADA cut-out kits, front guardrail removal, angle extension frames, and aluminum footboards were just a fraction of the work covered by FEC on this unique project.
This project was handled from start to finish by the FEC Service Department, which utilized its expertise, in-house technicians and experience to make these modifications within the parameters of a busy summer schedule for the school. The district was thrilled with the outcome of this project.
